The practice of counseling requires a high degree of professionalism and its backbone is the ACA code of conduct (American Counseling Association, 2005). Individuals in this field are faced with certain ethical dilemmas from time to time and they are forced to make solid decisions that will not implicate their reputation negatively. In order conduct their sessions successfully, they reliance is mostly on the ethical decision making model by Forester-Miller and Davis. This model provides a justifiable platform for the determination and deliberation of brainstormed courses of action.
